As part of its BRICS presidency in 2024, Russia is proudly hosting the BRICS Summit in Kazan from October 22 to 24. This highly anticipated Summit which has brought together the leaders of the world’s foremost emerging economies to further solidify the bloc’s growing influence on global affairs.
Throughout its presidency, Russia has committed to advancing an ambitious agenda aimed at strengthening the full spectrum of cooperation within BRICS Nations. This will focus on three pivotal pillars: politics , and security, where member nations will work together to address global and regional challenges; economy and finance, to foster economic growth, enhance financial collaboration, and promote the use of national currencies in mutual trade; and cultural and humanitarian ties, to deepen people-to-people connections, advance scientific cooperation, and promote shared values.
With these strategic priorities, Russia aims to position BRICS as a cornerstone of a more just, equitable, and multipolar world order.
